We turn our attention North and East from Healdsburg for our next two Eighteen Miles selections. The Alexander Valley is the region, where volcanic, iron-rich soils and a moderate temperature make it a perfect home to Bordeaux grape varieties. First up, our 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Classic Alexander Valley Cabernet with fruit from the relatively warmer northern part of the appellation near the town of Geyserville, with a portion coming from a mountain block off of Pine Flat road. This wine gives you ripe cassis and berry flavors with plenty of chewy tannins.
